The NRP are on the hunt for a suspected impaired driver.
Around 1 PM yesterday, police were called to the area of Eastwood Crescent and Victoria Avenue after receiving a report of a vehicle driving dangerously.
Upon arrival, the male who made the call advised that a white car mounted the curb and hit his dog, who was killed.
The car reportedly continued without stopping, crossed a front lawn, and narrowly missed a female who was exiting her vehicle.
The white car then left the area.
The vehicle in question is a white four door hatchback that possibly has damage to the front side driver's side bumper.
It is believed that the driver was a male, but no further description of the driver is available.
Pictures of the suspect vehicle can be found below.
