Police say some of the arrested had been released after September arrests in same operation
A massive drug and auto theft enforcement effort led by Niagara regional police has led to more arrests.
It all started in August of 2024, when Kingston police let the NRP know of drug activity, they say involved a Welland man.
Project Roadking was created, police finding drugs, guns and over $3.3-million in stolen vehicles last September.
30 people were arrested, 19 of those from Niagara.
Today, police say another 43 stolen vehicles were found at a port in British Columbia, valued at more than $3.8-million.
Three people were arrested last week, two of whom had been released since the September bust, and one person is still wanted.
