742 coming to Southern Ontario
The CRTC announcing it will add 742 to regions currently being served by 289, 365 and 905 area codes starting on October 16th.
The agency says the additional area code addresses the growing demand for new phone numbers in Southern Ontario.
It's the first new area code in our region since 365 was introduced in 2013.
