Police say a large quantity of cigarettes and lottery tickets were taken
Two people have been arrested in relation to the break and enter of a Welland business on River Road.
Police say near the end of June, two people stole a large quantity of cigarettes and lottery tickets, before driving off in a red Ford Escape.
With the help of Hamilton police, the NRP were led to a home in Hamilton on Limeridge Road, where they arrested one suspect.
Then, earlier this month, they searched a house in Burlington, arresting another person.
Police say 41-year old Nicholas Bilbijia of Burlington is charged with break and enter, and not complying with probation, and had a bail hearing earlier this month.
45-year old Brooke Byram of Hamilton is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and was released with a future court date.
