Police stop about 1,700 cars during R.I.D.E. check in St. Catharines
Two drivers had their licenses suspended after a Canada Day RIDE check in St. Catharines.
Police stopped about 1700 cars, and asked drivers if they had consumed any alcohol or drugs before driving.
28 drivers took a breathalyzer test, and two samples resulted in an "alert."
Their licenses were suspended for three days.
Police say several tickets were also issued for various traffic offences.
