A server at the Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Falls will be able to wear her face shield to work.
Camille Snedden got sent home twice last week for refusing to work without having her face shield as an extra layer of protection.
Canadian Niagara Hotels was worried that the shield would make other employees and guests feel like the restaurant is unsafe.
But it also says that it understands that people have different levels of comfort with COVID-19 so it will allow Snedden to wear the shield if it makes her feel safe.
The Workers United Canada Council has filed a complaint with the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
