Niagara Regional police stopped about 600 vehicles
Niagara Regional police targeting drunk drivers again this weekend with the RIDE program.
They say they pulled over about 600 vehicles on Saturday in Welland and Thorold, requiring nine drivers to give a breath sample for alcohol or drug impairment.
One failed, which lead to an arrest, while another person had an alert show, that resulted in a three day licence suspension.
Police add there were several tickets given for different traffic related offences.
