Niagara is one step closer to hiring it's next Chief Administrative Officer.
Council voted in favour of starting the recruitment process last night and it should take about four to six months.
A recruitment committee will be formed on December 17th and it will include Regional Chair Jim Bradley and four Regional Councillors.
Ron Tripp has been filling in as Acting CAO for about two years and he will stay on the job until his replacement is hired.
