Students going back to school in Niagara Catholic can expect smaller classes next week.
The board is moving to lower class sizes, something the DSBN is also doing.
Niagara Catholic is estimating about 22 students in a kindergarten class, 17 for grades 1 to 3 and about 24 in grades 4 to 8.
Parents will have the option to choose whether to keep their kids in school, or change to online learning, once a month.
The choice needs to be made by the 15th of the month, for the change to kick in at the beginning of the following month.
The new Director of Education Camillo Cipriano issued a media release yesterday afternoon.
