Niagara Falls and St. Catharines shelters will temporarily extend operations.
A pair of homeless shelters run by Niagara Region and Start Me Up Niagara are extending the time they stay open.
The Temporary Winter Shelters and Day programs at shelters in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls have been extended into the spring.
The Westminster Shelter in St. Catharines will remain operational until May 31st.
Meanwhile, Start Me Up Niagara says the St. Andrews Shelter in Niagara Falls will close on April 30th.
As well, the Coronation Centre, Third Space Cafe and Silver Spire warming centres will close on April 30th.
