A heat warning is in effect for Niagara and it should last throughout the weekend.
Environment Canada is predicting daytime highs in the low to mid-30s but it could feel closer to 40 with the humidity.
The temperature should drop to the low twenties overnight.
You should never leave another person or a pet inside a vehicle on a day like today.
The heat could also have a greater effect on kids, pregnant women, seniors or those with chronic illness.
