Temperature near freezing mark overnight
The frost advisory is still in effect for Niagara.
The weather office says temperatures will fall to near or below the freezing mark again overnight into tomorrow morning, resulting in patchy frost.
Frost is also possible tomorrow night into Saturday.
Environment Canada advises we cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas, and take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
