Hurricane Nicole to bring heavy rain and strong wind this weekend
It's the last thing Atlantic Canada needs, to socked by the remnants of another hurricane.
Environment Canada says Nicole is surging up the eastern seaboard of the US, and that'll bring heavy rain to New Brunswick and major wind gusts to Nova Scotia this weekend.
As if that's not enough, weather forecasters say that'll be closely followed by a winter storm system, with Newfoundland and Labrador likely to see freezing rain or snow.
The freezing rain and snow may also affect the northeastern region of Quebec.
