Weather office says mercury climbed to new high
Today we start to cool down but yesterday was one for the record books.
Yesterday's high of 30 C broke the old record of 27.7 C set back in 1978.
Today we will get some much needed rain and then temperatures cool back down with highs in the teens through to next week.
