Residents ordered to evacuate due to an encroaching wildfire
Residents of Yellowknife have been ordered to evacuate as wildfires burn near the city.
Officials have given residents until noon tomorrow to get out of town.
Two neighboring First Nation communities have also been ordered to evacuate.
Yesterday, a state of emergency was declared in the city.
Members of the Canadian Armed Forces have been called in to help battle flames.
