Clouds? Sun? What will the day hold weatherwise for Niagara and the Solar Eclipse?
Only days away from a celestial event of a lifetime...if Mother Nature plays nice. Will we see the total solar eclipse under beautiful sunny skies or will clouds obstruct our view?
Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Cheng jokes that he is "totally reluctant" to make specific predictions for what eclipse watchers can expect during the narrow window of time on Monday afternoon.
There is still plenty of time for forecasts to change, but meteorologists predict that a storm front could bring clouds to many locations along the eclipse’s path, including parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas.
Eclipse watchers who get clouded or rained out can still watch the spectacle online via broadcasts from NASA, The Associated Press and others.
