Laurier also calling for masks for learning spaces
Western University announced yesterday that staff and students who return to campus next month will be required to have at least one booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and wear masks in classrooms.
The London, Ontario, university's updated vaccine policy requires a booster dose for students, employees, and some visitors to its campus.
The University plans to reassess the policy after the Thanksgiving weekend.
The policy comes weeks after the University of Toronto announced it would require those living in residences to have a booster shot, and recommended all others keep their vaccinations up to date.
Laurier also announcing yesterday that masks will be required in all learning spaces, although their mandatory vaccination policy remains paused.
