Welland's short-term rental licensing policy will take effect January 31st.
The City of Welland's short term rental licensing program is about to take effect.
The program will become law on January 31st.
The zoning policy calls for no more than three guest bedrooms, and no external advertising on the site.
Operators may reside on the premises as well, and 0.5 parking spaces per guest room are required.
The By-law Enforcement Division will enforce by-law regulations through the Administrative Penalty System and a demerit point system.
By-law officers also have the authority to suspend or revoke a license.
