Section of roadway also impacted
A heads up, the city of St. Catharines reminding pedestrians the Welland Canals Parkway Trail is closing starting today
The Parkway trail, south of Glendale Avenue at the CNR bridge, will close today until June 18th for construction work on the bridge near Lock 4.
As well one lane of the Welland Canals Parkway south of Glendale at the bridge will also be closed until mid July.
The lane closure will be controlled by a traffic signal.
