Environment Canada says to anticipate heavy rain, wind, and possible hail, that'll likely last into the evening
It's the last thing many Niagara residents, particularly St. Catharines, want to hear.... potential dangerous thunderstorms tonight, with damaging wind, large hail and heavy rain.
Environment Canada calling for wind exceeding 110kms/hour, with ping pong ball size hail.
There could also be close to 50mm, or 5cms, of rain, and, to top it off, risk of tornado.
The timing of this weather expected to last into the evening.
Environment Canada advises if threatening weather approaches, take cover in a basement or interior room.
Weather warnings have been heard on our radio stations, and cell phones.
