Some provinces can expect a cold fall, but winter is expected to start off mild
The Weather Network has released its predictions for the upcoming fall season.
Forecasters says some provinces will face periods of very cold weather in the fall, but the season will end on a mild note due to an El Nino jet stream in the Pacific Ocean.
In Ontario, the province is expected to get a nasty push of cold air next month, but winter is forecast to start off mild.
The Network is also calling for a few winter storms in the prairie province during the fall, which may impact the harvest season.
Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon can expect above average temperatures, and Atlantic Canada may get storms from the tropics, along with precipitation.
