Illegal parking is becoming a big issue at beaches in Wainfleet.
The township held an emergency meeting on the issue and is taking further measures to tackle the problem.
In late June, the parking fine was raised to $100 and council plans to ramp up enforcement and tow vehicles.
Additional restrictions and signage will be in place along side roads leading to beach areas along Lake Erie.
The township recommends going to Reeb's Bay Beach, the Regional Beach or the NPCA's Long Beach and park legally.
