Eligible voters can register to cast mail-in ballots.
St. Catharines residents can now register for vote-by-mail packages for the upcoming municipal election.
The packages consist of the voting instructions and declaration form, an official ballot, a white ballot secrecy envelope and a pre-paid return envelope.
The City says the declaration form must be signed by the voter, attesting that they are eligible to cast a ballot.
Packages will be mailed in late September via regular mail.
Completed packages being returned by mail must be received at City Hall before 4:30 p.m. on election day, which is October 24th.
As well, beginning October 11th, completed packages can be deposited into drop boxes at the 3rd Floor Clerk's Office at City Hall, the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, or at St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre.

Residents will still be able to cast ballots on election day or at advance polling stations.
The 2022 Municipal and School Board Election will take place on October 24th.
