A heavy, significant rainfall warning for most of the Niagara region has been called off.
A rainfall warning has been called off by Environment Canada but it will continue to be a wet one today.
Expect some rain throughout this morning, afternoon and evening.
The national weather agency was calling for 50 to 60 mm with a few smaller areas possibly reaching up to 75 mm.
The rainfall was being blamed on a cold front and a moisture laden low pressure system arriving from the American Mid-west.
