Search warrant leads to seizure of suspected cocaine, drug packaging, and pellet gun.
Two people are facing charges in connection to a Thorold drug investigation.
Police say the investigation began in January 2022, following the drug overdose death of a St. Catharines man.
Investigators began looking into a suspected mobile drug dealer, and on March 8th, a search warrant was conducted at a home in Thorold.
Detectives found about 26 grams of suspected cocaine, worth an estimated street value of $3,200.
Other items discovered include drug packaging, a money counter, a digital scale, brass knuckles and a replica Glock style pellet gun.
Facing charges are 21 year old Damon Robert Hale of Thorold, as well as a 16 year old male, also from Thorold.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act of Canada, the teenager's identity cannot be released.
