Town of Pelham working to take down 15 picnic tables stacked overnight at Peace Park
An appeal from the Town of Pelham to the people responsible for some picnic table stacking to stop.
The town says for the 2nd time this year, a group of unknown people were recorded at around 1am in Peace Park stacking 15 wooden tables nearly four metres high.
The legs of each table were also screwed to the one below, creating a towering structure that takes staff time and effort to take down.
The town adds the tables at Peace Park are used during the Summer Chill series.
CAO David Cribbs is asking the people responsible to use their creativity and teamwork for something positive for the town.
