Niagara Health has announced that three COVID-19 outbreaks have been resolved.
The outbreaks on Unit 2A and the Emergency Department at the St. Catharines Site, as well as the outbreak on the Sixth Floor Unit of the Welland Site were declared over today.
The announcement comes after 14 days of monitoring of patients and staff members revealed no indication of further virus transmission.
Two other outbreaks continue to be monitored at the Welland Site.
These are located on the fourth floor unit and the Extended Care Unit.
Niagara Health is encouraging the public to practice proper COVID-19 safety measures, including mask usage, frequent hand washing, and staying home as much as possible.
