A heads up if you plan to go swimming this weekend.
Niagara Region Public Health says three local beaches are unsafe for swimming.
Due to high E.coli levels, you'll want to stay away from Waverly Beach in Fort Erie, and Reebs Bay and Long Beach, both in Wainfleet.
Swimming in waters with high E.coli levels could cause infections of the ears, eyes, nose, throat and skin.
It can also cause diarrhea if the water is ingested.
The levels of E.coli are affected by several factors, including birds, wildlife and the number of swimmers.
