Clive Ewart says he had to check 3 times, people he told didn't believe him, had to show pictures
A Thorold man is $100,000 richer after scoring big with Lotto Max and Encore.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says 53-year old Clive Ewart said yes to Encore, matched the last six of 7 numbers, and won.
This is his first big win after playing for 20 years.
He was in his car when he noticed the win, and had to scan it three times to make sure.
In fact, he says he had to show pictures to those he told because they didn't believe him.
He plans to pay off some bills with the money.
The winning ticket was bought at Petro-Canada on Old Thorold Stone Road.
