No injuries were reported after a Toronto-bound SUV caught fire while travelling on the QEW through Lincoln yesterday afternoon.
The vehicle fire disrupted traffic in both directions causing massive backlogs.
The town’s volunteer firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but it took about an hour for the vehicle to be removed and the highway reopened to traffic.
