A man has been arrested after going into an apartment building in St. Catharines with what looked like an AK-47.
Police say the man went into the building on Ontario Street yesterday morning and threatened two people.
The man went into an apartment and later surrendered to police after crisis negotiators were called in.
The 32-year-old from St. Catharines faces weapons-related charges.
Police say the gun was recovered and turned out to be a replica firearm.
