Jerry Romanoff says his heart started racing when he realized he might have a big win after playing Daily Keno draw
A great news story for a St. Catharines man.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Jerry Romanoff has won $1-million, after matching 7-Encore numbers, in exact order, in the August 3rd Daily Keno draw.
The retiree has been playing a variety of lotteries for about 25-years, and last Sunday, didn't have his glasses on when he thought he saw a prize of $125.
But he looked a bit closer, and when he realized he may have won big, his heart started racing.
The OLG had the ticket confirmed, he plans to share the money with his family and take his wife on a holiday.
The ticket was bought at Avondale on Linwell Road.
