Police are on the hunt for 39 year old Luke Mark Perron
Police are trying to track down a suspect wanted for weapon charges.
Earlier this month, officers received a tip that a St. Catharines man possessed a firearm.
Yesterday, police searched a home near Terrace Hill Road and Westchester Crescent.
Investigators say a revolver was found in the bedroom as well as ammunition.
The suspect was not home at the time, and an arrest warrant has been issued.
Police say they believe 39 year old Luke Mark Perron knows he is wanted, and is trying to avoid being arrested.
He is wanted for the following offences:
- Possession of a Firearm, Weapon, or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of a Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a License
- Possession of a Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Without Holding a License
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-688-4111.
