Police say this investigation started due to community complaints
A 39-year old St. Catharines man has been arrested after police responded to community complaints of drug dealing.
This started in December, police eventually watching a man dealing, and obtaining search warrants for his vehicle, and an address on Louth Street.
They arrested him yesterday, and searched the vehicle and house, finding:
- 12 grams suspected Fentanyl (street value $2640)
- 68 Hydromorphone Tablets (street value $1360)
- 9 Oxycodone Tablets (street value $90)
- $1287 Canadian Currency
Police say Kraig Salmon faces 5 charges:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Hydromorphone)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Oxycodone)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
He was released from police custody with a future court date.
Due to the nature of the investigation, police believe there are witnesses to this, and ask them to call police.
