Environment Canada is reporting about 20 to 50 mm of rain tonight into tomorrow for the southern and northern Niagara regions.
During that time, isolated thunderstorms can be expected as well.
The rain is expected to taper off by tomorrow afternoon.
The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority says flooding is not a concern right now, as water levels in local creeks are well below the threshold of critical levels.
Environment Canada has also issued a wind warning for the southern Niagara region.
Strong winds between 70 - 100 km/hr are expected by early tomorrow morning due to a low pressure system making its way through southern Ontario this evening.
The winds are expected to diminish by tomorrow afternoon.
High winds may cause tree branches to break or loose objects to be tossed.
