Government Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of Niagara.
Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines and Grimsby could get several hours of freezing rain overnight.
The area could also be in for strong winds with gusts of up to 70km/h.
Freezing rain can lead to icy roads which makes driving conditions dangerous.
