Smash Mouth founding member Steve Harwell passed away yesterday at the age of 56.
IDAHO - The former lead singer of Smash Mouth has passed away at the age 56.
Steve Harwell died yesterday after suffering from acute liver failure. According to the band's manager, Harwell "passed peacefully and comfortably" surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Boise, Idaho.
Harwell formed Smash Mouth in 1994 it released two platinum albums with hit songs including All Star, Walking on the Sun, and I'm a Believer. He left the band in 2021 after dealing with medical issues for eight years.
