Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for this evening.
Residents are warned that conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that may produce heavy rainfall and strong winds.
Environment Canada warns we could see hail, wind gusts between 90 and 110 km/hr, and about 50 mm of rain tonight.
Any thunderstorm activity that may occur is expected to weaken later this evening and overnight.
The area also remains under a heat warning, with humidex values around 40 expected into tonight.
It's going down to 21 this evening, and slightly cooler temperatures with less humidity is expected tomorrow.
