Senior Hospitalized after Interchange Crash

Police say the driver was in medical distress at Glendale and York

Niagara police are looking into a single vehicle crash that sent a St. Catharines senior to hospital.

They say it happened yesterday afternoon at the diamond interchange at Glendale and York Road.

It appears a Toyota ran into the guardrail, as the 72-year-old driver was in medical distress.

That driver was taken to hospital in critical condition.

No charges have been laid.

Police add if you know anything about this crash to give them a call.
