They joined together pushing for Status for All.
About 30 people rallied outside the Niagara Detention Centre in Thorold yesterday, calling for permanent status for migrant workers, refugees and undocumented people.
It was one of 10 rallies held across the country yesterday by the Migrant Rights Network.
Other rallies happened in Toronto, Ottawa and Windsor.
The Migrant Workers Alliance for Change says an equal society has equal rights for all and the government left migrant workers behind during the pandemic.
