The Niagara Falls boat launch will be closed next week, but open for weekend
The Queenston boat launch in Niagara Falls will be closed next week.
That's because Niagara Parks will be finishing construction of a new dock system, along the north Niagara Parkway and lower Niagara River.
The closure is from Monday to Friday.
Niagara Parks says enhancements include repairs to the concrete docking area, an extension of the sidewalk adjacent to the dock, and installation of a new docking system designed to move with the levels of the river.
Plans are in the works to make sure it reopens for the weekend.
