It'll be tomorrow night at 6:30 at Grantham Lions' Club
If you were impacted by the explosion at Ssonix Products last week in St. Catharines, you'll have a chance to speak up at a public meeting.
The Port Weller Residents Association is holding it at the Grantham Lions Club on Niagara Street tomorrow night, starting at 6:30.
In a letter to area residents, the Association says there have been calls for a permanent secondary access route in and out of Port Weller East since 2008.
The letter further indicates access through the City's Emergency Access Route's 4 padlocked gates were not possible for 45 minutes, since they were locked, and people had to use the Northrup extension.
While many were directed to the Kiwanis Aquatic Centre where they received help, others were not, which lead to more confusion.
One person tragically lost his life due to the explosion.
The event will be live streamed on the Association's facebook page.
