A $900,000 provincial investment at Brock University for a new Artificial Intelligence Robotics and Mechatronics lab.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff making the announcement last week, saying support for engineering and computer science programs at Brock will ensure students and teachers have access to advanced equipment.
The new lab will give students a foundation for careers in AI, software engineering, robotics, data science and technological innovation.
The school adds the lab will students the ability to design, train and evaluate intelligent systems in real-world environments, better understanding their applications.
