Milk and the cost of ordering movie tickets online are both on the way up
Look to pay more to get entertained.
Cineplex is adding a $1.50 booking fee if you buy movie tickets online or through its mobile app.
The charge won’t be applied to tickets bought at the box office or through it's Scene+ loyalty program.
The company explains it needs to further invest and evolve its digital infrastructure.
Meantime, the price of milk is also going up.
The Canadian Dairy Commission has approved a 2.5 percent increase in the price of wholesale milk beginning September 1st.
This is the second price jump this year.
In February wholesale milk went up 8.4 percent.
The commission says the hike is necessary to offset the cost of inflation on dairy farmers.
And don't be surprised to find inflation continues to climb/
Statistics Canada is scheduled to release its consumer price index for May today.
The annual inflation rate hit 6.8 per cent in April, its highest level since January 1991.
Economist expect it jumped to more than 7 percent last month.
