Premier Hints We May Enter Step 2 Earlier Than Planned

Right now we are expected to make the move to Step 2 July 2nd

Doug Ford telling reporters yesterday he plans to meet with the province's top doctor about whether when we can safely make the move to Step 2 earlier than anticipated.

When we entered Step 1 on June 11th, the province said it would be three weeks before we could move to the second stage which sets the date on July 2nd.

To enter Step 2, the province says 70 per cent of adults need to be vaccinated with one dose and 20 per cent doubled dosed.

Currently, 75 per cent of Ontarians have received their first shot, and 18 per cent have received two jabs.
