Fort Erie bound traffic directed off highway at Glendale

Tragedy on the QEW at Glendale Avenue.

Provincial police tell us a woman was walking on the overpass last night when she fell onto the highway below.

Sergeant Kerry Schmidt adds she was hit by several vehicles and was killed.

Police are looking for the vehicles involved, as police say none of them remained at the scene.

They don't believe foul play is involved.

The Fort Erie bound of the highway has been closed this morning as traffic has been directed off at Glendale Avenue.
