Police Nab St. Catharines Robbery Suspect

Suspect accused of stealing money

A St. Catharines man has been arrested in connection to a gas station robbery.

On December 28th, police were called to the Canadian Tire Gas station on Welland Avenue.

Investigators say a suspect claimed to have a knife, and demanded cash from a staff member.

He took off with an undisclosed amount of money, and the employee was not hurt.

48 year old Daniele Roberto Sforza has been charged.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 905-688-4111, option 3, 1009412.
