Police Investigating West Lincoln Barn Fire

Barn believed to be site of marijuana grow operation engulfed in flames.

Niagara Regional Police are investigating a barn fire that occurred in West Lincoln.

Around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, crews were called to a blaze near Victoria Avenue and Tice Road.

The barn was fully engulfed in flames when police and firefighters arrived.

There were no people at the scene when the fire took place.

Detectives say the barn is believed to be the site of a marijuana grow operation.

The Ontario Fire Marshall and detectives with 8 district continue to investigate.
