Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) are gathering along the Niagara Parkway today.
In 1996 the area was internationally recognized as a globally significant bird area by major conservation groups.
Since then, bird watchers have flocked to the area annually.
This weekend OFO has events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday is a Niagara Hotspots and Gull Workshop and on Sunday there is a Niagara River Gull Watch.
You can find a full list of trips and events on the OFO website here.
