Commercial vehicle crashes up 40 percent so far this year
Until July 16th, OPP will be monitoring roads looking for motorists engaged in risky driving.
Police note they have responded to 29 fatal crashes involving commercial vehicles so far this year.
The crashes have killed 40 people
It was just Saturday, OPP stopped a vehicle on the QEW in Niagara Falls after it blew by a fully marked cruiser in broad daylight.
The vehicle was clocked going 175 km/h.
The driver is facing stunt driving charges.
